Setup process

Read step 5 before you start. Vega loads in two halves with a reboot between them, and people abandon a working setup at the halfway point because they think it failed.

1. Turn protection off

Defender real time protection off, third party antivirus uninstalled rather than paused, and Vanguard, FACEIT and ESEA removed. See Antivirus and Windows Defender.

2. Install the runtimes

Visual C++ and the DirectX end user runtime, from Runtimes and DirectX.

3. Download the loader

Your download link comes with your key. If you cannot find it, open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord.

4. Register, then log in

First time only:

1. Open the loader and press Register, underneath the login button.
2. Choose a username and password.
3. Enter your licence key.
4. Log in with the account you just made.

You should see your active subscriptions once you are in. The account is Vega's own, separate from your CheatPlus account.

5. Press Load, and restart

Press Load. A prompt asks you to restart the machine. Restart it.

This is normal and it is not optional. Vega sets itself up across the reboot.

6. Log in again, and press Load again

After the restart:

1. Open the loader.
2. Log in again.
3. Press Load a second time.

7. Start Siege in borderless

Launch the game in borderless window mode. Fullscreen will not show the menu.

8. Let the security patch finish

Siege restarts itself and downloads a security patch. Wait it out.

9. Open the menu

With the game window focused, press Insert.
