Start with the baseline requirements that apply to everything we sell, then add what is on this page.

Hardware and Windows

Virtualisation	Enabled in BIOS, VT-x on Intel or SVM on AMD
Hyper-V	Disabled on AMD. Intel can leave it enabled

Display mode	Borderless

Software you need

• Medal, run as administrator. KRUSH draws through it and will not show a menu without it.
• Visual C++ and DirectX runtimes, from Runtimes and DirectX.

Software that has to go

KRUSH is unusually strict about what else is running.

Security:

• Windows Defender real time protection off.
• Any third party antivirus uninstalled, not paused.
• Riot Vanguard, FACEIT and ESEA uninstalled.

Other overlays. Close or uninstall anything else drawing over your games:

• Overwolf
• SteelSeries GG
• The Steam overlay
• Discord's legacy overlay

Debugging and virtualisation tools. KRUSH refuses to start if it finds any of these, and reports it as a process termination rather than naming the culprit:

• Any virtual machine software, and any VM process still running
• Debuggers and inspection tools of any kind

If you use these for work, KRUSH is going to be awkward on that machine.
