Troubleshooting
Each Predator error message, and what it actually means.
Most messages below come down to the same two causes: something is filtering the connection, or your Windows clock is wrong.
An error occurred in the secure channel support / The request has timed out / The operation timed out
Your traffic is being blocked, by an antivirus, an anti-cheat, a firewall or your ISP.
- Fully uninstall your antivirus and any other anti-cheat. Disabling is not enough.
- Resync your time and region under Settings, Time & language.
- Try enabling a VPN. If you already use one, try turning it off.
Antivirus Interference detected
Something is still filtering traffic, and it may not be an antivirus you installed.
- Fully uninstall every antivirus and anti-cheat.
- Scan the machine for malware, since infections filter traffic the same way. Dr.Web CureIt is a good free one time scanner.
Internal public server error
Same cause again: traffic blocked by an antivirus, anti-cheat, firewall or ISP. Fully uninstall antivirus and anti-cheat software, then retry.
Reason: modules::load_module: failed to create section
Fully uninstall your antivirus and any other anti-cheat. Disabling leaves the driver loaded, which is what blocks the module.
If it persists after a clean uninstall and a restart, open a ticket.
Hardware mismatch
Something about your PC changed since your last inject, so the licence no longer matches the hardware it was bound to.
You need an HWID reset, which is limited to once every 7 days. Open a ticket in Discord.

Not user fixable. Open a ticket in Discord and include a screenshot of your Windows version: press Win + R, type winver, press Enter.
The game will not start, or crashes on launch
Check your Steam launch options. -vulkan is not supported and needs to be removed. Steam, right click Counter-Strike 2, Properties, General, Launch Options.
Nothing here matches
Open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord with:
- Your Windows version from
winver - The exact error text or a screenshot
- Whether your antivirus is uninstalled or only disabled
- What you have already tried
That last point matters more here than on most products, because the fixes overlap heavily.
