Product status

Every product has a status on the status page, taken from the developer's own updates. Check it before you buy, and again after any game update.

What the statuses mean

Available. Working and being sold. This is not a promise that it is undetected, only that it is running.

Updating. Offline while it is patched, usually because the game updated and broke it. The loader will not inject, and nothing on your machine will change that.

Detected. The anti-cheat is catching it. Do not use it until this clears, whatever the loader lets you do.

Updating is normal

Live games patch on a schedule and every patch moves the memory the product reads. Rust, Fortnite, Siege and Tarkov go down routinely and come back.

How long depends entirely on the vendor and the size of the game update. A small patch can be a couple of hours. A full season or wipe update can take days. We do not set that timing and we cannot speed it up, so an honest "we do not know yet" is usually the true answer in a ticket.

Check the status page before you troubleshoot

This is the single biggest time saver in these docs.

If a product stopped working overnight and nothing on your machine changed, do not reinstall Windows, do not reinstall your runtimes, and do not start disabling things in BIOS. Check the status first. Most "it broke for no reason" tickets are a product mid update.

What happens to my time

Time lost to an update does not automatically extend your key, unless the product page says it does.

When compensation is given, it is announced alongside the update on the updates page and applied to active keys. It is a decision made per outage, usually by the vendor, not an entitlement you need to claim.

Buying while a product is Updating

You can, and your key is valid when the product returns. Your time does not start until you load the key, so you are not paying for the downtime.

What you cannot do is get help making it work before it comes back.

The updates page carries the change log, and update announcements go out in the CheatPlus Discord. Watching the Discord is the fastest of the two.
