Troubleshooting
Every Coffee error, what it means, and the fix.
Menu and overlay
The menu does not appear when I press Insert
In order:
- You are not fully loaded. Wait until you are properly in a raid or the hideout, then press
Insert. - The game is not in windowed mode. It has to be set and saved with the game closed, before the loader runs. See step 1 of the Setup process.
- More than one monitor. Unplug every monitor except the one you play on and try again.
The overlay is on the wrong screen
Unplug all but one monitor. Coffee's overlay does not place itself reliably across multiple displays.
The ESP draws badly, or does not draw at all
While in game and injected, switch the game to fullscreen and immediately back to windowed. That forces the overlay to re-attach to the correct surface.
After uninjecting
Chams are still showing after I uninjected
The materials are cached by the game, not still being drawn.
Clear the game cache, or verify the integrity of your game files from the Tarkov launcher.
Players or items are still purple
Same cause, more stubborn. Clear the Tarkov cache first. If that does not clear it, the game files need reinstalling.
Errors
Your disk format is not supported, please convert to GPT
Your Windows disk is on the legacy MBR scheme. Convert it with the built in mbr2gpt tool, then switch the BIOS from Legacy to UEFI. Convert the disk first or the machine will not boot.
A missing DLL is named on launch
One of the runtimes is missing or damaged. Install all three from Runtimes and DirectX, then reinstall your graphics drivers, then restart.
Install them even if you are sure they are already there.

Reinstall your graphics drivers. Use the vendor's own installer rather than Windows Update's version.
HWID Mismatch
Your key is bound to different hardware from the machine you are on. Open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord with your key and your Coffee username. See HWID resets for what to expect.
RegisterAndStart failed (STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED)
Windows is blocking a driver the loader needs, through the Microsoft vulnerable driver blocklist.
That blocklist exists to stop known-abusable drivers loading, so turning it off is a real reduction in your machine's defences, not a formality. It is under Windows Security, Device security, Core isolation details.
Turn it back on when you are done playing.
Blue screen while loading
Coffee's documented behaviour here is to simply retry, and it usually succeeds within a handful of attempts.
Repeated hard crashes are not free. Each one risks the filesystem, and a machine that blue screens on every attempt has a driver problem underneath. If it has not worked after five or six tries, stop and open a ticket rather than continuing.
Before retrying more than twice, update your graphics drivers and close anything else using an overlay.

Open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord with your Windows version from winver, a screenshot, and what you have tried.
The vendor does not take tickets from reseller customers, so CheatPlus support is the route, not theirs.
