Setup process

1. Set up the BIOS

Virtualisation on, Secure Boot off, TPM off. Details and the BitLocker warning are on System requirements.

This only has to be done once. Reboot afterwards.

2. Clear the machine

• Windows Defender real time protection off.
• Third party antivirus uninstalled.
• Riot Vanguard, FACEIT and ESEA uninstalled.
• Every other overlay closed: Overwolf, SteelSeries GG, the Steam overlay, Discord's legacy overlay.
• No virtual machine software running, and no debugging tools open.

3. Install the runtimes

Visual C++ and the DirectX end user runtime, from Runtimes and DirectX. Install them even if you believe you already have them.

4. Install Medal

Get it from medal.tv, install it, and run it as administrator.

Leave it running for the whole session. KRUSH draws its menu through Medal, so closing Medal takes the menu with it.

5. Run the launcher

Run the KRUSH launcher as administrator. Your download link comes with your key, and if you cannot find it, open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord.

6. Create an account and activate your key

1. First time only, open the Register tab and press Create.
2. Wait for the dashboard to load.
3. Select Activate License, enter your key, and activate it.

The account is KRUSH's own, separate from your CheatPlus account.

7. Inject

Select your game in the launcher and follow the injection prompts.

8. Launch the game

Start the game in borderless mode and wait until you reach the main menu or lobby. Do not rush this, the overlay attaches once the game is settled.

9. Bring up the menu

At the main menu, press F2.

From then on, Insert opens and closes the menu.
