Setup process

1. Set Tarkov to windowed mode

Do this first, before the loader ever runs.

1. Launch Tarkov normally.
2. Open the graphics settings.
3. Change Screen Mode from Fullscreen to Windowed or Borderless Windowed.
4. Press Save.
5. Fully exit the game. Not minimised, not alt tabbed. Closed.

2. Turn protection off

Defender real time protection off, third party antivirus uninstalled, Vanguard, FACEIT and ESEA removed. See Antivirus and Windows Defender.

3. Install the runtimes

Visual C++, the DirectX end user runtime and the .NET runtime, from Runtimes and DirectX. Coffee reports missing DLL errors when any of the three is damaged, and a damaged install looks identical to a missing one.

Update your graphics drivers at the same time. Two of Coffee's documented errors come down to stale drivers.

4. Run the loader

Your loader link comes with your key. If you cannot find it, open a ticket in the CheatPlus Discord.

Run it and wait. One or more command windows appear first, then a graphical window. That can take a few seconds, and the command windows are not an error.

5. Register or log in

• First time: create an account, then enter your key.
• Returning: log in and click Add key.

The account is Coffee's own, separate from your CheatPlus account.

6. Run the product

Press Run the product.

If the loader asks you about anything, answer the prompts. If nothing appears and the loader closes on its own, that is success.

7. Launch Tarkov

Start the game and wait until you are fully loaded into a raid or the hideout. Then press Insert.

Pressing it during a loading screen does nothing and is the usual reason people think the injection failed.

Saving a config

Coffee has no config file on disk. It moves settings through the clipboard:

To save: click Copy config to clipboard in the menu, paste into an empty text file, and save the file.

To load: open your text file, select everything and copy it, then click Load config from clipboard in the menu.

Keep that text file somewhere safe. Since the loader deletes itself after every session, your clipboard config is the only thing that persists.
